Is massage sensual or sexual?  There is a difference between a clinical, medical massage to one offered in a massage parlour.  The massage offered by Serenity Services is NOT sensual or sexual.  I do not do tantric or naturist massage and I do not offer happy endings or extras.

Do I have to take off my clothes?  If you are having a Swedish or Aromatherapy Massage then you will be asked to undress, I will leave the room while you undress and you can leave your underwear on if you wish.  Indian Head Massage and Thai Foot Massage are done fully clothed.

What is a knot in a muscle?  This question is often asked so I decided to put it in the massage frequently asked questions.  The medical term for a knot in the muscle is myofascial trigger point.  In layman's terms it is a muscle that has contracted and won't release.  Massage can help the muscles to relax, smooth out the muscle fibres and relieve muscle tension and pain.

Will I be pain free after the massage?  Most of the time muscular pain has evolved over a long period of time and it will take time to get the muscles back to normal.  Some pain relief can be felt immediately and other times it may take several treatments before any relief is felt.

What are the benefits of massage?  The benefits of massage are numerous. It detoxes the body, increases flexibillity, reduces stress, relieves low back pain, headaches and muscle tension, increases blood and lymph circulation and helps the body to relax, rejuvenate and heal.

Not all massage frequently asked questions are listed here but if you have any other questions please contact me.
