What can I expect from a Serenity Services Massage Treatment?

What to expect from a Serenity Services treatment

A consultation will be taken before any massage treatment takes place so that any health problems are taken into consideration when choosing the oils and treatment. I will fill out a form and take a few personal and medical details and then you will be asked to sign the form. All information is strictly confidential and will be kept in a locked cabinet. I will then decide what oils and massage treatment I shall offer you and blend the oils. You will be offered either a full body massage, a back massage or an indian head massage. If you need to undress I will leave the room whilst you do so. You will then be either seated or asked to lie on the couch, towels will be provided if you are having a full body massage or a back massage. When I return to the room I will make sure you are comfortable and warm, start the massage music and proceed with the massage.

Full Body Massage

I will be massaging the front of the legs and feet (not upper thigh on men), the arms, the stomach (not on men), the chest (not the breasts), and the face. I will then ask you to turn over and put your face in the face hole. I will then massage the backs of the legs, the back, the neck, and the head. The whole massage treatment will last an hour (or an hour and a half) and I will inform you when the massage is finished. I will then leave the room and let you get dressed. A few minutes later I will return to the room with a glass of water for you and proceed with your Serenity Services treatment aftercare instructions.
Back Massage - Same as Full Body Massage but just massaging the back, neck & head for ½ an hour.

Indian Head Massage

After initial consultation you will be seated on the massage chair and I will put on some relaxing music. You will remain fully clothed and I will discuss with you if I will be using oils. I will then begin your Serenity Services treatment. I will be massaging the shoulders, neck, upper back, arms, head and face. I will inform you when the massage treatment is finished. Indian Head Massage usually takes between 20-30 minutes.

Thai Foot & Hand Massage

After initial consultation you will be asked to remove your shoes and socks and make yourself comfortable on the massage couch whilst I put on some relaxing music. You will remain fully clothed througout the treatment and I will discuss with you if I will be using any oils. The treatment will consist of massaging the feet, legs, hands and arms and some simple stretching exercises to improve mobility and flexibility. I will finish with a brief shoulder massage before commencing with your aftercare treatment. This massage usually takes between 20-30 minutes.
