What to expect from a Serenity Services treatment

Full Body Massage

A consultation will be taken before any massage takes place so that any health problems are taken into consideration when choosing the oils and treatment. I will fill out a form and take a few personal and medical details and then you will be asked to sign the form. All information is strictly confidential and will be kept in a locked filing cabinet. Only you and I will have access to this information.

I will then decide what oils and massage treatment I shall offer you and mix the oils so that you can smell them before the massage takes place.

I will then leave the room while you undress down to your underwear and put your clothes in the box provided. Ladies will be asked to remove their bra but they can keep it on if they want to. You will then lie on the couch, face up, and cover yourself with the towels provided. I will then return to the room, make sure you are comfortable and warm, start the massage music and proceed with the massage.

I will be massaging:

          The front of the legs and feet (not upper thigh on men)
          The arms
          The stomach (not on men)
          The chest (not the breasts)
          The face

Then I will get you to turn over and put your head in the face hole and continue with the massage. I will then do:

          The backs of the legs
          The back
          Neck, and
          Head

The whole massage will last an hour. If at anytime you are uncomfortable, cold or in pain then you should tell me immediately. ONLY the part of the body being massaged will be exposed at any one time and then covered back up with the towels.

The more you relax the more you will get out of the massage, so lie back, close your eyes and let your troubles drift away…………

I will tell you when the massage is completed, at which time I will leave the room and let you get dressed. I will return to the room with a glass of water for you and proceed with the aftercare instructions.

Facial and Hands

After initial consultation I will inform you that I will be leaving the room and I would like you to remove your clothes from the waist up and place them in the box provided, lie down on the couch and cover yourself with the towels. I will then return to the room to do your facial and hands.

I will put a cap over your hair to protect your hair from the cream and oil I will use on your face. I will then proceed as follows:

          I will place a warm damp towel over your face for a few minutes to soften your skin

          Then massage the exfoliating cream all over your face to remove dead skin cells

          Then wipe off the cream with tissues and a damp towel

          Then massage a combination of essential oils over your face

          Then remove excess oil with tissues.

The same procedure will be carried out for the hands.

The cream I use is non-allergic and is for sensitive skin. I have had very good responses from all clients that have had this treatment and your face and hands will be soft and silky for days after.

This treatment is recommended for everyone but in particular ladies with mature or dry skin, acne can be drastically reduced and spots treated with essential oils.

If you want to look your best for that special occasion come and have a facial, it really does make all the difference. You’ll feel clean and fresh and look amazing.

Feet Treatment

After initial consultation I will ask you to either roll up your trousers or remove them, then take a seat and cover yourself with the towel provided.

I will then proceed with the treatment:

          I will soak your feet in a bowl of warm water and essential oils (marbles are placed in the bottom of the bowl to massage your feet as
          they soak)

          I will then dry them and apply the exfoliating cream to remove dead skin cells

          Then I will ask you to return your feet to the bowl of water to wash off the cream

          After drying your feet I will massage your feet and legs with a combination of essential oils

This treatment is recommended for everyone but in particular people that cannot reach their feet very well or spend a lot of time on their feet at work or shopping.

Again I have had very good reports from all my customers that have had this treatment.

Back Massage

Same as Full Body but just massaging the back, neck and head.

This treatment lasts for ½ an hour.
